CHAPTER V The End of the Beginning Day 287, 2016…….Winter is here As the first leg of companies start to arrive at the campus for placements, I feel this to be an apt time to conclude the ramblings that I had started during the course of my internship. This is a first of a kind, long-term writing project that I had undertaken, something I have to say made me see the world in a whole new light. The basic premise of this memoir was to present my internship experience in a comical verse, as best as I can with a couple of past memories thrown in. Now, looking back there are certain events that most notably stand out from the rest. Before moving ahead, I think there are a few people who should be given honorable mentions. There’s the cheerful Reneesme, who dreams of travelling the wild-west with her husband, the Holy Trinity of Senior Managers – Mr. Sunil Pathran, Mr. Amit Kumar and Mrs. Jyoti Pathran. Well, there are a host of websites that provide solutions for downloading torrents, but none is a s good as Seedr.cc. The website has minimal design and is extremely user-friendly. For starters, it has a free account offering 2 GB of storage, decent enough when compared to rivals. You get free space when you invite friends and like and post their Facebook page. Doing a Youtube video gives you 1 GB of free space The download speed is also good , even in free accounts. Monthly plans start from as low as $6 per month where users get 30 GB of free storage. The added advantage of 256-bit encryption is like an icing on the cake. SO go ahead, give it a try

On the contrary, it was an emotionally satisfying one, especially when the candidates that I had screened eventually got inducted into the organisation. However, the first couple of days took a bit getting used to, unsure of the corporate terrain and some of those were just plain funny. A week had passed on. On the following dreadful Monday, I reached office couple of minutes late, as I had covertly made it my habit. I see a guy on the couch playing Candy Crush. Dude, seriously Candy Crush…What are you 4 years old? I saw a courier on the table nearby and thought he might be the delivery guy or something waiting for somebody to sign-in. I had no idea that he was one of the s...
